The 2022 Pink Lady Match date has been announced! Melbourne will take on the Brisbane Lions in a top of the table clash at the MCG on Thursday 23 June.
After the match was cancelled in 2020 during the first round of COVID lockdowns and then was played with no crowd allowed to attend in 2021 during another COVID lockdown - we can't wait for everyone to be able to get involved at the match, via the broadcast in 2022.
More details will be announced over the coming weeks however Breast Cancer Network Australia can confirm:
- The Melbourne Players will be wearing the Pink Lady socks to represent and show support for all Australians affected by breast cancer.
- There will be pre-match activities outside the ground including a tribute field to enable match goers to visit and leave messages of support or in celebration or memory of someone they love that has been affected by breast cancer.
- BCNA merchandise will be available for purchase at the ground including the all new PLAY4BCNA beanie to be launched with this year's Virtual Pink Lady on June 1, 2022.
- BCNA will be inviting fans at the ground and watching at home to help fill the Virtual Pink Lady and leave messages of support for all Australians affected by breast cancer.
Ticketing information and more event activities will be updated soon!
