We are hosting a Pink Sports Day in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

This cause holds a special place in our hearts, especially here at Braybrook Sporting Club. As some of you may know, we lost a very fond member of the Braybrook community, Cheryl John, to breast cancer, in 2018. Joining in 1995, Cheryl was a devoted supporter and volunteer of our club, which lasted for 23 years. Cheryl assisted with a number of jobs around the club including being the senior Umpire Escort and our Club 100 organiser. Cheryl would walk laps of Pennell Reserve whilst the boys trained religiously each week and was a much loved person around the club. The club now honours the 'Cheryl John Best Club Person' award at each presentation, voted by fellow members of the Braybrook Sporting Club community.

Thank you for getting involved in our fundraising and helping BCNA to inform, support, connect and represent all Australians affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women with one in seven diagnosed in their lifetime. Over 20,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year as well as over 170 men. Your support will help these women, men and families to not go through their journey alone.
