Hi DA Melbourne Pink Phoenix! Victorian DA clubs are hosting a Pink Sports Day in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) on the weekend of Sat Sep 23/Sun Sep 24, 2023. On this weekend at our regular training session, we'll fundraise for BCNA by: 1. Wearing all BCNA PINK merchandise gear, purchased from BCNA 2. Conducting a Pink Cake Stall to fundraise from other dragon boat teams present & the general public, with BCNA Donation Tins as well 3. During the 1 month before the Pink Sports Day, employ our social media sites to promote this fundraiser, which will include a direct link to a BCNA donation portal, which will tally our donation amount. Our club's target is $1,000, so let's get this going!!! SHARE SHARE SHARE the fundraising portal link to your personal socials at least once/week up until our Pink Sports Day and let's blow past this target amount!!! Come on team!!! Thank you for getting involved in our fundraising and helping BCNA to inform, support, connect and represent all Australians affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women with one in seven diagnosed in their lifetime. Over 20,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year as well as over 170 men. Your support will help these women, men and families to not go through their journey alone.
