This year marks the 12th time hosting the Hockey Victoria Women & Girls Breakfast in partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). It is the perfect lead in to PLAY4BCNA Round where all HV clubs are invited to pink up and show support for everyone in their community affected by breast cancer.
On Friday, 10 May 2024 Hockey Victoria will lead into Mother’s Day and our Women’s Round with something a little different for the event. This year, we will be hosting a painting session at the St Kilda Town Hall!!
This year’s breakfast will focus on ‘Who are you in Sport?’. Shining a light on the incredible players, parents, administration staff, volunteers, coaches, umpires, anyone and everyone that plays such a pivotal role in sport. Hockey in Victoria would not be where it is and will not continue to grow without the outstanding people in our community.
Networking with the community and guests will kick off the morning, we’ll be joined by BCNA on stage, include guest speakers throughout the morning including BCNA Ambassador (Hawthorn AFLW player) Sophie Locke, and have a raffle to be announced at the end of the morning to raise money for BCNA.
