The annual Pink Lady Match at the MCG aims to raise awareness of the impact of breast cancer on our community and provide an opportunity for the AFL community to come together and show support for everyone affected by breast cancer.
This year Melbourne Football Club and Breast Cancer Network Australia mark a significant milestone of a 20 year partnership.
Breast Cancer Network Australia’s (BCNA) 2024 Pink Lady Match will be held at the MCG on Saturday 22 June during AFL Round 15. Melbourne Football Club will take on North Melbourne at 7:30pm in the only Saturday night match for the round.
MCG entry gates for Field of Women will open from 5.30pm with activities commencing outside the ground from 4pm. Fans are invited to visit the Mini Tribute Field of Women and get a photo with the giant inflatable pink lady as well as visiting the concourse activities between Gates 2 -3. BCNA merchandise including beanies, scarves and PLAY4BCNA socks (as worn by the Melbourne players) will be available for purchase outside the ground or via the BCNA online store.
For those that cannot attend the match in person it will be broadcast on Channel 7 and Fox Footy / Kayo. To get involved home or away you can help fill the virtual pink lady and leave a message of support.
