Pink Sports Days are back for 2021

After a season of cancelled team sport, BCNA is excited to announce that 2021 registrations for Pink Sports Days are now open.

BCNA’s Pink Sports Days are an opportunity to bring together your sporting team or club to raise money to help BCNA ensure all Australians impacted by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.

This year your help is even more vital. COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on the breast cancer community with treatment, diagnosis and reconstructive surgeries delayed. As a high-risk group, many women with breast cancer have also been particularly isolated during this time and requiring additional support.

Pink Sports Days are the highlight of many clubs’ sporting calendars. For former Ballarat Clarendon College footballer Lotti Dyer, the Players for Pink match was one of her favourite days of the year.

There is something special about coming together and raising money and awareness for what is a fantastic cause. Winning is just a bonus - the day is about so much more. Women supporting women by playing football - it doesn’t get any better than that."

Interested clubs are advised to register early to receive free support materials for help with planning and promoting their event. Early registration also gives clubs time to order any BCNA merchandise they may need for fundraising.
